Headaches

It is uncommon for children to complain of headaches so that when they do they should be checked by a General Practitioner first.

Assuming that no pathological cause is found for the headaches then osteopathy may assist in their management.

Headaches are often caused by spinal joint strains or tight musculature in the neck.  Osteopaths use gentle treatment to relax these tight muscles or to correct any joint strains.

Headaches can also be caused by concussion in children.
