About OsteopathyOsteopathy is a system of manual therapy that is recognised as part of the national health system in many western countries. It encourages the body to move as freely and as pain-free as possible by helping to restore normal function to affected structures. In addition to standardised tests, osteopaths use touch, movement & observation to diagnose and treat physiological or mechanical disturbances in the body. This may include spinal and peripheral joint manipulation, soft tissue techniques such as massage and cranial osteopathy.
